1. Scope and Operator control
This page explains general digital boarding practices for bus/minibus tickets purchased through RYDZ where the ticketing service is active. Actual terminal, departure, check-in, baggage and age rules vary by the named licensed Operator and must be shown before payment. A customer must not be bound by an undisclosed operational restriction added after purchase.
2. Booking details and preparation
Review the travel date, departure local time, boarding location, destination, route, Operator name, passenger count and any assigned seat. Some services may require presentation of a booking reference, QR code or valid lawful identity document. A passenger must receive a valid way to obtain the travel credential after payment and a reasonable channel to request correction of a bona fide error.
3. Boarding and digital validation
Present the ticket to authorized boarding staff; codes should be scanned or otherwise validated using an approved system. A single-use credential may be marked redeemed when genuine boarding occurs. A network outage, scanner failure, inaccessible phone or suspected duplicated scan should trigger an appropriate manual validation/escalation method—not an automatic demand to pay a second full fare. Operators must prevent sale or boarding above the vehicle's legal capacity.
4. Check-in and lateness
Arrive in time for the specific Operator's published check-in requirement. RYDZ does not set a universal check-in cutoff; the Operator's requirement shown for the journey applies. If a passenger misses a journey that operated as advertised, apply the disclosed lawful no-show rule. If departure times or terminals were inaccurately displayed, investigate before denying the customer's refund or rebooking request.
5. Baggage and prohibited items
Baggage must fit safely in approved storage and comply with disclosed Operator weight/size limits. Dangerous, illegal, combustible or otherwise prohibited items may be refused as required for safety. The exact baggage allowance and charge for excess or special items must be disclosed at the appropriate point before purchase. Mobility aids and legally protected disability accommodations should be handled fairly.
6. Families, assistance and conduct
Adults must supervise children and comply with lawful guardian and Operator requirements. Ask for assistance in advance if a passenger needs wheelchair access, support for sensory impairments or help boarding; availability must be described accurately. Passengers must not abuse staff, obstruct exits or tamper with safety equipment. The Operator may take proportionate safety measures without unlawfully discriminating.
7. Service failure, lost ticket or incorrect scan
Report a missing booking credential, invalid QR, duplicate redemption, departure change or denied boarding to both available operator staff and support@rydzmw.com. Preserve the payment receipt and booking reference. Remedies depend on the recorded facts, operator responsibility, Ticket Terms, Ticket Refund Policy and mandatory law.
