1. Scope
RYDZ may periodically offer ride or ticket vouchers, referral credits, sponsored discounts or partner promotions. These general rules apply only when a specific offer is actually enabled and accompanied by an offer-specific page giving eligibility, dates, limits, value, redemption rules, participating cities/routes and the party funding it. A mention in an advertisement does not guarantee a particular promotion remains active. At present, promo codes can be used only at ticket checkout, where a participating Operator has created one for its own routes; RYDZ does not currently run a referral programme or ride promo codes.
2. Eligibility and clear pricing
Each offer must say whether it applies to first-time riders, specific vehicle classes, bus operators, named routes, minimum basket amounts, accepted payment methods or a defined booking period. The user should see the real pre-discount price, any taxes and fees, the discount amount and the final payable total before purchase. Do not use fake "original" prices or omit material limitations. Promotions cannot override statutory consumer rights or misrepresent a carrier's fare.
3. Applying an offer
A valid code should be entered in the supported checkout before payment, where the feature exists. If an offer has limited uses, the count and expiry should be disclosed. Where the user cancels or the Operator cancels, credit restoration should follow the disclosed rule and be fair in the circumstances; when you cancel a ticket booking, or a booking fails, the use of a limited-use promo code is given back. A voucher cannot be retroactively revoked to deprive a customer of a lawfully due refund on an unperformed paid service.
4. Referral standards
If referrals are offered, each participant must use truthful communications and only invite contacts in a lawful, non-spam manner. Self-referrals through synthetic or duplicate accounts, buying fake signups and generating fictitious paid trips are prohibited. A benefit is earned only after the published verified event occurs. Credits should not be described as withdrawable cash unless actual wallet regulation and the offer explicitly permit it.
5. Partner-funded promotions
Where a Captain or Operator funds or contributes to a promotion, RYDZ and that partner must document who bears the discount, handling of commission and tax, refund treatment, eligibility and claims. RYDZ must not deduct a sponsored offer from a Captain's earnings without an accepted commercial basis.
6. Suspension, corrections and support
We may pause a promotion in response to proven abuse, unlawful conditions or technical defects, but should honor valid obligations to customers and provide fair corrections or refunds. Material changes should not apply retroactively to already confirmed purchases. For problems contact support@rydzmw.com with a booking reference and the offer code; never share OTPs.
