Intellectual Property, Copyright and Content Notices

Ownership of the RYDZ brand and content, permitted use and how to report infringement.

  • Effective 19 October 2026 · Last updated 19 October 2026 · Version 1.0
  • Applies to: Website visitors, content owners and business partners

1. Ownership and permissions

The RYDZ name and brand assets, application software, original text, interface designs, databases and other original works are owned by RYDZ Technologies Limited or its licensors, except as otherwise identified. The RYDZ service provides a limited personal right to view and use its functionality for lawful bookings; it does not transfer the intellectual property in the platform.

2. Third-party materials

Routes, operator names, schedules, fares, vehicle images, map tiles, icons, payment-provider names and trademarks may belong to independent owners. Their appearance does not necessarily indicate endorsement, partnership or legal affiliation beyond an expressly identified and approved service arrangement. Map and payment services can carry separate lawful usage restrictions; users should respect them.

3. What you may and may not do

You may save ordinary booking confirmations for personal or business records, link to public informational pages and use RYDZ features as intended. Without permission or another lawful justification, do not reproduce the platform interface for commercial impersonation, distribute copied proprietary data, scrape protected passenger or driver details, reproduce RYDZ logos in misleading advertising, remove ownership notices or sell access to the service.

4. User-submitted materials

A user retains ownership of their original feedback, text or images. By submitting material to a support case or review area, the user grants RYDZ a limited licence to store, display, moderate and use it only as necessary for support, safety or the service, with appropriate privacy measures. Do not upload third-party works without authorization or publicly disclose personal information without a legal basis.

5. Content complaints and takedown

A rights holder may email support@rydzmw.com with subject IP Notice, identifying the work, location/URL, claimed rights, basis for complaint and a safe contact address. We may temporarily remove disputed content where reasonably needed and may seek a response from the uploader. Submitting intentionally false takedown notices may have legal consequences. This process does not supplant rights under applicable Malawi law.

6. Brand and partner use

Captains and Operators may use RYDZ marks only as explicitly authorized under their accepted partner arrangements, and must cease after the relationship ends. RYDZ will not describe a transport company, sponsor, regulator, insurer or payment provider as officially partnered or certifying the service unless supported by a valid agreement or authorization.
