1. Purpose and reach
This policy guards RYDZ rides, tickets, booking data, payment infrastructure, staff and partners. It applies to the website, mobile apps, user accounts, driver dashboards, ticket issuance, QR validation, operator systems and API integrations, where available. Ordinary good-faith customer complaints and lawful security reports are not misconduct.
2. Identity and account integrity
Do not create duplicate identities to evade restrictions, provide another person's phone/ID as your own, forge driving documents, offer an account for sale, rent access credentials or masquerade as a Captain, staff member or Operator. Where multiple passengers use one purchaser's account, each relevant ticket and passenger record must still be accurate.
3. Booking and pricing abuse
Prohibited acts include fake bookings, intentional repeated no-shows to harass Captains, manipulating GPS or timestamps, creating fictitious trips, coordinating false discounts or referrals, off-app fare substitution, QR cloning and selling invalid tickets. Do not exploit demand pricing, voucher limits, cancellations or refunds through deception. A disputed charge or genuine pricing complaint is not presumed fraud.
4. Payment and payout abuse
Do not use stolen payment instruments, initiate false chargebacks, collect twice for one booking, divert customers to unapproved accounts, launder money, misstate cash receipts, submit forged proof of payment or manipulate partner settlement ledgers. RYDZ may apply proportionate verification and transaction holds where lawful and documented; customer money must not be permanently retained without proper legal basis.
5. Systems and cybersecurity
Do not attempt credential stuffing, unauthorized access, data scraping of private records, malware distribution, service flooding, manipulation of GPS/dispatch APIs, bypass of seat inventory locks, abuse of rate limits, reverse engineering outside legal permissions or sharing of sensitive access tokens. Responsible vulnerability reports made without unnecessary data access should use the Security Disclosure Policy; RYDZ must not mislabel good-faith coordination as abuse.
6. Communications and content
No threats, harassment, sexually exploitative content, deceptive impersonation, spam, doxxing, abuse of contact or support channels, knowingly false safety claims, discriminatory remarks or misinformation designed to induce dangerous activity. Do not reveal a live ticket QR, customer home address, Captain licence image or other private information in public posts.
7. Operator and staff access
Operators must restrict dashboard access to authorized staff, rotate credentials upon staff departure and maintain accurate route/inventory information. Captains must use passenger data only for the assigned journey. A business account is not a general right to access the RYDZ database, export customer lists for unrelated marketing, or resell booking data.
8. Enforcement and appeals
RYDZ may respond with warnings, payment verification, removal of unlawful content, booking block, temporary suspension or termination as proportionate to the circumstances; urgent threats permit immediate interim restrictions. When safe and legally appropriate, the affected person is told the broad reason and how to request review. Enforcement must be documented, fair and compatible with applicable consumer, privacy and other law. Contact support@rydzmw.com.
